Monthly suustry STPEGS Units 1 and 2 were shutdown during February,1993 due to auxiliary feedwater ( AFW) system component f ailures. The units will not be taken critical until the results of the AFW system corrective action and additional issues have been addressed.
All energy losses associated with Unit 1 are unplanned. The energy losses for Unit 2 are also unplanned, except for the period between February 27 and May 23, which was the previously scheduled outage period for the unit.
