Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-146/90-01
This refers to the special announced safety inspection conducted by Mr. J.
Roth of this office on July 10-12, 1990 at the Saxton Nuclear Experimental
Corporation reactor facility in Saxton, Pennsylvania for the purpose of
reviewing your actions taken to decontaminate several onsite builoings and to
review the final release survey results provided to the NRC by letter dated
April 26, 1990.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region 1
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative
