With technology constantly changing and the need to protect public health and safety, it is imperative that communications between the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Agreement State programs and also between these regulatory authorities and users of radioactive sealed sources and devices be open and cooperative. The NRC Sealed Source Safety Section (SSSS) is providing this newsletter to promote such communications.
