Eis report ccnoludes that densificatica of fuel ray occur and that the resulting femation of fuel colurn gaps should be anticipated in all light water reactor fuels. Se report also provides the essential elemnts to be included in calcula-ticnal nodels used to account for the effects of fuel densificaticn.

Sese analyses should be provided for your present fuel loading. If the analyses indicate that changes in design or operating conditic.s are necessa:7 to raintain required rargins, you should subr:it pmposed changes and operating li::itaticns with the analyses.

In order that the Regalatory Staff can conduct an expediticas and orderly rev12w of these ratters, we request that you sub :it the analyses and additional inforation within 45 days fmm the date of this letter.
