SUBJECT:
EXAlilNATION REPORT, WATERFORD-3 On September 10-14, 1990, NRC adniinistered exeminations to employees of your f acility who had applied for senior reactor operator licenses to operate your Waterford-3 facility.
Eight of the ten applicants passed e11 parts of these examinations. The appropriate lictnses have been issued.
The examinations were conducted in accordance with NUREG-1021, Revision 6, as a pilot for the new methodology that uses facility developed examination material.
Difficulty wa.i encountered in using the examination material provided, because the examination bank material had not been updated since the previous requalifi-cation examinations conducted in September 1989. We recognize the effort of the training staff assigned to assist in pre-examination developruent.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
