Partial review responsibility for this submittal was transferred to NRC Headquarters from Region IV on October 31, 1990.

Based oi, our review, we have determined that the changes submitted regarding alarm system placement on Figure 4-1 decreases the effectiveness of your Physical Security Plan and, therefore, is unacceptable under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p). Accordingly, you are to follow your previously approved plan in regard to this item. Corrected plan pages should be resubmitted i.

as necessary to maintain plan continuity. Region IV will complete the review of- Revision 12 and independently notify you of plan acceptability.

If you wish to pursue this matter further, our regulations require that  :

you submit an application for a license amendment pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90.

Members of my-staff will be available to discuss this determination and other possible corrective actions.
