7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY CO?'filSSIGH 00CKET HO. 50-373 COM?!0!NEALTil EDISON COPPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF At:ENDt:Eg 0F FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U.S. l'uclear Regulatory Comission (the Commission) has issued Amendnent No. 3 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-11, issued to Comonwealth Edison Company, which revised the license for operation of the La Salle County Station, Unit No.1 (the facility) located in Brookfield Township, La Salle County, Illinois. The Amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
The Amendnent consists of an addition to the ifcense in that prior to-January 15, 1983, the licensee shall check the torque on all non-pressure boundary bolts on each safety-related valve outside containnent.
The application for amendment complies with the standards and require-ments of the Atonic Energy Act of 1954, as anended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license anendment. Prior public notice of this Amendnent was not required since the Anendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has detemined that the issuance of this Amendment will not result in any significant environnental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR Section 51.5(dj(4) an environnental impact statenent, or negative declaration and environn'e'ntal impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this Amendnent.
