UNIMPLEMENTED GENERIC SAFETY ISSUES AT V. C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT NO. 1 On April 25, 1990, the staff issued Generic letter 90-04 which requested infor-mation concerning the implementation status of certain generic safety issues (GSIs) at your facility. Based on your response to this Generic Letter, dated June 29, 1990, our own records an:l discussions with your staff, we have updated 1
our database on GSI implementation status. The results of this effort were presented to the Comission at a meeting on October 25, 1990.
The enclosure to this letter sumarizes the staff's understanding of the current status of those GSIs which remain unimplemented at V. C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit No. 1.
We appreciate the assistance you provided in responding to Generic Letter 90 04 and we encourage your timely ccmpletion of those GSIs listed in the enclosure.
