On March 20, 1990, the NRC issued Generic letter 90-03, titled " Relaxation of Staff Position in Gentric Letter 83-28, Item 2.2 Part 2 'Yendor Interface for
, Safety-Related Components'. Generic Letter 90-03 requested that all licensees,and applicants review their present vendor interface programs and I,,
modify them as necessary using the guidance supplied in the generic letter.
By. letter dated October 2,1990, you responded to Generic Letter 90-03 and stated that the Limerick Generating Station vendor interface programs will conform to the new NRC position in Generic Letter 90-03 within four months.
The staff has-reviewed your response and finds it acceptable. Based on your commitment,-this action is considered closed.
