Dear Mr. Matthews:
=The NRC staff has completed an acceptance review of your submittal dated September 25, 1990, the' final " Remedial Action Plan and Site Conceptual Design-
.(fRAP)" for the Ambrosia Lake, New Mexico, UMTRA Project site.
After a clarification by 00E staff that. new specifications are not forthcoming, the
. staff concludes that the submittal is-acceptable-for review.
NRC's goal in this review will be closure of four open. items remaining from our draft Technical Evaluation Report (TER), and issuance of our final TER.
The TER will provide the basis for concurrence in the proposed remedial action at Ambrosia Lake,:and~ will -identify conditional items requiring : confirmatory reviews during and.following the remedial actions.
