Gentlemen:
By letter dated July 3, 1992, Duke Power Company submitted a response for oconee, McGuire and Catawba Nuclear Stations to Generic Letter 92-01, Revision 1.
The NRC staff issued a request for additional information(RAI) dated October 12, 1993 for McGuire Nuclear Station.
The response to the RAI was to be provided to the NRC 45 days from the date of the letter.
McGuire Nuclear Station needs additional response time in order to resolve the discrepancies and provide the additional data requested in the RAI.
Accordingly, the response to the RAI will be submitted no later than December 20, 1993.
