Dear Mr. Miller:
I Enclosed are thirty four copies of revised Chapter 11 responses to Questions 430.157 and 430.165b to the subject Request for AdditionalInformation (RAl) on the Standard Safety Analysis Report (SSAR) for the Advanced Boiling Water Reactor (ABWR). The initial response to these questions was provided in Reference 1. Also included are clarifications pertaining to onsite radwaste storage and SSAR modifications explaining the offgas two-stage cochng system.
Please note that this material contains information that is designated as General Electric Company proprietary information. This material relates to the Chapter 11 proprietary information that was previously sent to the NRC via Reference 2 and its corresponding proprietary affidavit.
It is intended that GE will amend the SSAR with these responses in a future amendment.
