Dear Mr. Feltz:
I&E The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 8 to Facility License No. R-83 for the TRIGA reactor at the Texas A&M University.
The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to the request dated May 27, 1982.
This amendment changes the administrative organizational controls to require the Director of the Nuclear Science Center to report to the Director of the Texas Engineering Experiment Station, through the Head of Nuclear Engineering Research. The amendment changes are shown on the enclosed page as noted by the vertical lines.
Publication of this notice is not required because the amendment is administrative in nature and does not involve a significant hazards consideration, nor does it amend a license of this type described in 10 CFR Section 2.106(a)(2).
