NRC EXAMINATION REPORI N0. 50-413/93-301
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) administered examina-
tions led by Michael E. Ernstes on October 21, 1993. The examinations were
administered to employees of your company who currently hold licenses to
operate the Catawba Nuclear Plant. These operators had failed the requalifi-
cation examination administered in May 1993. At the conclusion of the
examination, the examinations and preliminary findings were discussed with
those members of your staff identified in the NRC Examination Report,
Enclosure 1.
A copy of the written examination questions and answer key, as noted in
Enclosure 2, was provided to members of your training staff at the conclusion
of the examination.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
