Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. R. C. Stewart of this office
during the period September 10-14, 1990, of activities authorized by NRC
Operating License HpF-47 for River Bend Station, and to the discussion of our
findings with you and other members of your stef f at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included followup to NRC Bulletin 88-04 and
-
the review of repairs required on the Division 1 diesel generator. Within these
areas, the inspection consit,ted of selective examination of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection
report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
One unresolved item is identified in paragraph 4 of the enclosed inspection
report.
We have also examined actionr..veu have taken with regard to previously identified
-inspection findings. The status of these items is identified in paragraph 2 of
the enclosed report.
