)

Various Administrative Changes i

By letter dated August 30, 1993, Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) submitted the subject license change request to the NRC.

The submittal proposes to revise:

(a)

Technical Specification 6.5.1.2, to-eliminate the position of Radiation Protection / Chemistry Manager and change the titles of Radiation Protection Engineer - and Chemistry Engineer to Radiation Protection Manager and Chemistry Manager, respectively.

The proposed change will make the Specifications consistent with the functional position-titles now in use at the HCGS.

(b)

Technical Specification 6.9.1.7, to increase the i

submittal interval of the Radiological Effluent Release Report

{

(RERR) from semiannually to annually per August-31, 1992 amendment to 10 CFR 50.36a(2).

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and l

Energy's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) reviewed the subject amendment in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b).

Based on this review, BNE does not have any comments on the proposed change request Item (1) above.

For Item (b), the BNE has no concerns, as long as the information to be presented by PSE&G in their RERR is based on a format acceptable to the NRC.
