DRESDEN NUCLEAR POWER STATION UNIT 1 CERTIFIED FUEL HANDLERS TRAINING PROGRAM (TAC NO. M86967) By letter dated July 2, 1993, as revised September 1, 1993, Commonwealth Edison Company (CECO) provided its certified fuel handlers' training program for Dresden Unit 1 as requested in our letters dated May 28 and August 9, 1993. We have now completed our review of CECO submittals in which we compared the Dresden 1 training program against the guidance in our Standard Review Plan, Section 13.2.2, " Training for Non-Licensed Staff," and ANSI NI8.1-1971, " Selection and Training of Nuclear Power Plant Personnel." l Based on this review, the NRC staff concludes that the Dresden 1 certified. fuel handlers training program is consistent with and meets the intent of the relevant review criteria of our Standard Review Plan and ANSI N18.1-1971 and is therefore, acceptable.
