Dear Mr. Barton:
Representatives of four Eastern European government nuclear regulatory bodies are visiting Region I for training as a nuclear power industry regulator. As part of that training, they will be visiting some of the nuclear powered electric generating stations in NRC Region I.
The names, countries, and badge numbers of our Eastern European guests are:
Gyula Fichtinger, Hungarian AEC, Hungary (Badge No. F-1002)
Yordan Harizanov, Committee on Uses of Atomic Energy for Peaceful Purposes, Bulgaria (Badge No. F-1003)
Milan Musak, State Office of Nuclear Safety, Czech Republic (Badge No. F-1004)
Miroslav Lipar, Nuclear Safety Authority, Slovak Republic (Badge No. F-1005)
It is currently planned that they will visit the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating StaGon the weeks of September 27 and October 12, 1993 to observe the operational safety team inspection and work with the resident inspectors. They have not completed general training in radiological protection, security, and personal safety. Therefore, I am requesting that they be afforded escorted access to your facility. Should you require any additional information or perceive any problem with this request, please call.
This letter is effective upon receipt and expires on October 31, 1993. We appreciate your cooperation with us in this matter.
