The individual wanted to talk about a radioactive dump site in Cleveland.
The man said he was a retired electrical engineer who worked for a company called Picker X-Ray.
He said back in the 1960s, Picker, Westinghouse and a company called Parker Hanafin buried radioactive material at a C
site on Lake Erie.
When asked what was in the site, the man said cesium-137, uranium-133, and cobalt-60.
When asked how much activity was there, the unidentified man said 86 curies of cesium-137, 1/4 curie of uranium-233, and 1.3 million curies of cobalt-60.
I askedM]if the unidentified man hadn't said 1.3 curies.

Funk lsaid he's dealt with kooks over the years, but this guy doesn't seem like one of them.
Ile said he's very intelligent and sincere.
lie said the man has tried to tell others in the Cleveland area about this in the past, but was told to shut up and forget it, said all of the above information, as sparse and estionable as it might be, came from the unidentified alleger.
- nows nothing more about the site other than what he's already ated.
He said he wanted to tell us about it since this could be a serious problem---if true.
