Requirement 4.7.6 which involved changing the minimum allowed How through the Control Room Area Ventilation System filter unit from 5400 cfm to 4000 cfm. The modincation which l
necessitated requesting this Technical Specification change is no longer planned. Hence by copy of this letter, Duke Power Company is fonnally withdmwing the amendment request made in the reference letter.
