Interagency Agreement No. NRC-09-93-233 Entitled " Nuclear Safety Attache Position at US Mission in Vienna" Pursuant to the Economy Act of 1932, as amended, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Department of State (DOS) desire to enter into an agreement whereoy DOS will provide administrative support to the NRC in l

establishing the position of Nuclear Safety Attache to be assigned to the US Mission as described in the enclosed Memorandum of Understanding.

Accordingly, upon your agreement as provided below, the terms and conditions of this Interagency Agreement are as follows:

l Article I - Period of Performance The period of performance of this Agreement shall be from August 1,1993, through December 31, 1995. The period of performance may be extended by mutual agree :ent of both parties. Those changes shall be incorporated into this Agreement by the issuance of modifications to this Agreement.

Article II - Payment bv the NRC to DOS Payments sh:!1 be through the direct billing authority delegated to the Department of State by the NRC on May 14, 1993. DOS shall submit supporting information which includes the following information:

Payments shall be on a reimbursable basis for the following:

Foreign Affairs Administrative Support Job Code E7032, B&R 370-19-605-000 l

Article III - Funding Limitations The total estimated amount of this agreement for the three-year period of performance is 5678,000.

Of that amount, the allowable expenses for FY93 shall not exceec 575,000 as follows:

Rent, Utilities, Residence Maintenance, & Benefits

$16,000 Salary and Post Allowance

$26,000 One-time Start-up Costs, Official phone calls,

$30,000 Supplies, Travel Foreign Affairs Administrative Support

$3,000 The FY94 authority to spend will be forwarded to DOS by October 1,1993.
