COM-106 Program Revitalization TIA (TAR) Process Enhancement Updates NRR/DORL RITF Public Meeting February 20, 2020 1 Booma Venkataraman
COM-106 Revitalization Highlights Rebranded as TAR, and restructured as a fact-gathering exercise to inform decisionmaking in other processes, the revitalized TIA process will:
- Embrace modernization (e.g., holistic problem- solving, enhanced tools)
- Offer a graded, risk-informed approach to screen, scope and evaluate issues
- Work in coordination with the LSSIR* initiative
- Address lessons learned, and feedback from internal and external stakeholders
- Enhance the effectiveness and timeliness of the program
- Integrate Construction TAR process in the merged, updated COM-106 2 *LSSIR: Low Safety Significance Issue Resolution (WG recommendations memorandum, ADAMS Accession No. ML19260G224).
