DUANE ARNOLD ENERGY CENTER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION COMPARISON CORRECTION LETTER (TAC M85640)
By letter dated March 1, 1993, you stated that the Duane Arnold Energy Center I
(DAEC) Technical Specification (TS) effort would be complete by April 15, 1993. On April 19th, we had a discussion at DAEC on the concerns found from this comparison effort.
Several of the concerns were either editorial differences or administrative in nature that needed to be corrected in the NRC i
copy of the TS.
There were concerns that you needed to correct which will be addressed in future TS requests. The following are changes that were made to j
correct discrepancies found in the NRC copy of the TS:

Amendment 174, dated August 12, 1991, deleted surveillance requirement notation "B" for Limiting Condition For Operation (LCO) 3.4.B. on Table of 4

The enclosed replacement page i i
reflects amendments up through 193 with the "B" removed for LCO 3.4.B.
2.
TS page 3.5-13 was issued with Amendment 15 on December 16, 1975, but, inadvertently the page was issued without an amendment number.
3.
DAEC-1 has been placed in the heading of TS page 3.6-4 l
and the spelling of the word temperature in paragraph 2.d has been spelled correctly.

TS page 3.8-6a was issued with Amendment 10 on July 30, 1975, but, inadvertently the page was issued without an amendment i
number.
5.
The word sources on Bases page 3.8-8 has been changed to source to reflect the singular tense.
6.
The spelling of the word results in the last paragraph l
of TS page 3.8-13 has been corrected.
