May 10, 1993 ERRATA SHEET TO MAY 6, 1993 ALL AGREEMENT STATES ISSUES FOR THE PROPOSED POLICY ON COMPATIBILITY OF AGREEMENT STATES The Commission directed the NRC staff to develop a Commission Policy on compatibility.
On April 2, 1993, a working group was established to perform this task.
The group obtained information from individuals identified by the Organization of Agreement States (OAS).
The working group's tasks were to:
1.
Develop a paper discussing the various issues associated with the scope of a policy of compatibility; 2.
Participate in discussions on the issues with the Agreement States, the Commission and its staff, the non-Agreement States, the regulated community and the general public; 3.
Develop a compatibility policy for Agreement States and j
EDO review to submit for the Commission's I
consideration; and 4.
Provide guidance on compatibility policy criteria development and implementation strategy.
The draft issues paper that you are receiving today is the result of the input of many people.
Please review this material carefully so that we may have a productive discussion from 2:00 i
to 3:30 p.m. on May 20, 1993.
The paper will.be revised after the working group has had a chance to review all of the comments received at this session.
A public workshop will be held at the end of July with the participation of the groups mentioned in item number 2 above.
