Supplementary information:
State Agreements Program is temporarily revising its Internal Procedure D.2 entitled,
" Scheduling, Conducting and Reporting On-Site Reviews of Agreement State Regulatory Reviews."
This temporary instruction will be incorporated into the D.2 procedure at the next major revision of that document.
This revision is designed to better track the dissemination and collection of events information with special emphasis on misadministrations.
We are seeking your cooperation in this matter.
During each routine review and visit the Regional State Agreements Officers will conduct the following review:
1.
Review each Agreement States' procedures for informing their licensees about the importance of reporting accurate and timely events information with emphasis on misadministration reporting.
2.
Review and discuss each Agreement States' misadministration data during each routine review and visit.
3.
Review each Agreement States Program Directors' procedures for reporting events data to NRC and impress upon the Directors the importance of reporting accurate and timely events data with emphasis on misadministration data.
