Thank you very much for answering my questions on the medical examination for nuclear plant operators. You were very helpful! I would like to follow up on our discussion on a possible Region !!! meeting of medical directors to discuss and further standardize our medical exams and decision making processes. The ANSI standard 3.4 is very good but there are a couple of subtle " holes"in the standards. What do you think t
would be the best avenue for convening a one-day meeting to review our current methods of exams amongst the utility physicians in Region lil? I think a meeting at O' Hare would be easy for most of us to get to. Do you have a list of Region lli utility physicians who i might contact as well? I think it would be great to have your physician advisor, Dr.
Bartol(?) to talk about her role and responsibility as well! I hope to hear from you or Mr.
Burdick'soon to mull this over further.
