Subject: NRC Inspection Report Number 93-08
This refers to the . inspection conducted by Mr. K. E. Johnston and' Mr. J. F.
Melfi of this office on April 22.through May 31,1993. The inspection
included a review of activities authorized by NRC License No._ NPF-1 at the
s
Trojan Nuclear Plant. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were
discussed with those members of your staff identi_fied in the enclosed report..
Areas examined during this inspection are identified in the enclosed report.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted 'of selective examinations' of '
procedures and representative _ records, interviews with personnel, and -
-
observations by _the inspectors. The inspectors also reviewed the emergency
plan staffing levels' and concluded that they were adequate.- However,
continuing management attention is warranted to assure that adequate staffing-
is maintained.
-
No -violations 'or deviations were identified within,the scope of this'
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice, a copy of-
this letter and the enclosure will be placed'in the' NRC Public' Document Room.
