Minnesota 55401, pursuant to Section 104.b. of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, has filed an application, dated August 1, 1966, for authorization i
to construct and operate a boiling water nuclear reactor on a 1325 acre site located on the west bank of the Mississippi River, approximately three miles i
northwest of Monticello in Wright County, Minnesota.
i The proposed reactor, designated by the applicant as the Monticello Nuclear 4
l Generating Plant, is designed for initial operation at 1469 thermal megawatts j
with a net electrical output of 472 megawatts.
A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Commission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N. E, Washington, D. C.
