.been scheduled at the Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) site from September 10-21, 1990. 3

This letter confirms the July 18, 1990, telephone discussion' between Mr. J. Cunanins

' of this office and Mr. R. King of- your staff regarding this inspection. i

The. team leader and principal contact for this inspection is Mr. J. Cummins. !
The inspection team'will consist of approximately six; inspectors made_up of
NRC ersonnel and consultants.

As part of the preparation for_ this inspection, the team desires 5to hold meetings
,
with appropriate members of your staff at the ANO site August 27-31, 1990. The
purpose of the meetings will-be =to define the scope of the: inspection, to discuss
interfaces between the team and your staff, and to have the-team members
present receive the training to be' badged:for unesc~orted. access. ~ Additional i
E -informetion to support badging the-team mcmbers-for unescorted access will be I

provided to you in separate ~ corresponcence. It:is requested that you provide' j
those to be badged with any required site-specific training. .

The. inspection team:is, scheduled to arrive on site at approximately 1 p.m. on - i
y< September 10, 1990, and those team members who were not' badged'during the site i
visit in August will require the appropriate site-specific training for i
