Subject:
Amendment for possesslan limit change.
Gentlemen:
IRT requests the following changes regart.Ing the possession limits of materials authorized by the referenc6d license i,.nder Section 3.1, TOTil LICENSE LNIT:
Change 8 A to read 1 gram Delete 6 F, 7.F. and 8 F.
- All. material possessed under this license is in the form of hermetically sealed. sources whlen require destruction of' the capsule to acct:ss the -materla!. The material carried as item 7.F is 1.
. being disposed of as waste. The broker is. scheduled to plek up the material July 26,1990. It
~
"is expected that further reductions of the present inventory will be accopmilshed by the end of this year, and the remaining material will be confined to items 6B, BC and 6D. Amendments will be
- submitted accordingly..This reduction in the present inventory reduces the referenced license to Categtory C and thiarefore exempt fron. the financial assurance requirements of 10CFR70.25.
' Enclosed are six (6) copies of pa a 5 and 6 of our application with the changes. - Also enclosed r
18 a check for $180, as specified in 10CFR170 Section 170.31, to cover the cost of this amendmenb If you have any questions or need further information, please call me at (619) 450-4343,.
