DPR-40 OMAHA PUBLIC POWER DISTRICT FORT CALHOUN STATION UNIT NO. 1 DOCKET NO._50-285 1.0 IN,T@ DUCTION By letter dated March 19, 1990, Omaha Public Power District requested some changss to page 5-1, 5-5, 5-8, 5-19a, of the Technical Specifications (TS) for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit 1.

The proposed changes incorporate title changes as a result of a reorganization and also a partial relocation of the Energency Planning Department.

In addition, a-title was changed in Asendment 115 but was omitted from page 5-19a. This change is also include',

d 2.0 -DISCUSSION The licensee's proposed changes incorporate recent job title revisions resulting from a reorganization and also a partial relocation of the Emergency Planning Department.

In addition, as indicated above a title change was omitted on page 5-194 when Amendment 115 was issued and this title is corrected.

' All these changes are administrative in nature; and therefore, the' staff finds them acceptable.

3.0 ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATION

The amendment relates to changes in recordkeeping, reporting or administrative

. criteria for categorical exclusion set forth in 10 CFR ~Section 51.22(gibility procedures or requirements. Accordingly, the amendment meets the eli c)(10).

2 Pursuant to 10 CFR 51.22(b), no environmental impact statement or environmental assessment need be prepared in connection with the issuance of the amendment.

The staff has concluded, based _on the considerations discussed above, that:

(1) there is reasonable assurance that the health and safety of the will not be endangered by operation.in the' proposed manner, and (2) public such activities will be conducted in compliance with the Commission's regulations, and the issuance of -the amendment will not be inimical to the conr.on defense and security or tu the health and safety of the public.
