Enclosed are thirty four coples of selected sections of Chapter 11, Radioactive Waste Management, Chapter 18, human Factors Engineering, Chapter 19, Response to Severe Accident Policy Statement, Chapter 2 A C.ucstion and Response Guide, of the Standard Safety Analysis Report (SSAR) for the Advancer Bc ding Water Reactor (ABWR),

Please note that all or parts of the following sections contain information that is dulgnated as General Electric Company proprietary information: 11.2,11.3,11.4,19.4,19J and 23.3. These pages are primarily corrections of earlier proprietary submittals and the proprietary affidavits under which they were originall issued are applicable to these pages.

The proprietary material for Sections 18.4,18.5,18A,18B and 18C is being supplied for the first time and the proprietrary affidavit for this material is attached.

The proprietary pages of the ABWR SSAa that have been changed with this amendment are identified on the page change instruction sheets included with this submittal.
