An Enforcement Conference was held at the NRC Region I office on June 15,
1990, with NRC and licensee representatives to o.3 cuss the apparent violations

in the area of radwaste and transportation of radioactive materials from
Millstone Unit 1.
These violations were discussed in NRC Inspection Report
No. 50-245/90-08, dated May 30, 1990. A Notice of Significant Licensee
Meeting issued June 6, 1990, is attached as Enclosure 1.
Topics discussed during the meeting and the meeting attendees are listed in
the attached Enforcement Conference Report, Enclosure 2.
The two-hour
Enforcement Conference was held to give you the opportunity to refute any
discrepant inspection findings and discuss short and long-term corrective
actions for the apparent violations.
Further actions to be taken by the NRC, with respect to the apparent
violations, will be the subject of separate correspondence.

In accordance with Title 10, Code of federal Regulations, Section 2.790, a
copy of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public
Document Room.
