By application dated May 23, 1990, Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) requested that the expiration date of Certificate of Compliance No. 9191 be extended to September 30, 1990.
B&W has rcquested the extension to provide sufficient time to com-plete evaluation of a replacement shipping container.
If a substitute container is not found, B&W will submit a consolidated application for the renewal of these containers. The current containers have not been used since March 1989.
The staff concludes that the statements of the original application, as supplemented, provide adequate documentation of the packaging to permit the requested extension, l
