As_ requested by your application dated May 23, 1990, enclosed is Certificate of Compliance No. 9191, Revision No. 3, for the Model Nos. ORNL Unitradiated Fuel Shipping Container and BNL Unirradiated Fuel Shipping Container. This certificate supersedes, in its entirety, Certificate of Compliance' No. 9191, Revision No. 2, dated June 14, 1989.
Note that the certificate of compliance has been renewed until September 30, 1990. The expiration date has been extended to provide time to evaluate alternative package designs.
If you decide to renew the certificate, a 1
separate consolidated application should be submitted for each package model.
Those on the attached list have been registered as users of this package under the general license provisions of 10 CFR 971.12 or 49 CFR 6173.471.
This approval constitutes authority to use this package for the shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR 6173.471.
