EMERGENCYOPERATINGPROCEDURE(EOP)INSPECTIONPROGRAM This is to advise you of a special inspection initiative that is being performed at operating reactors.

It will include an inspection to be.

The initiative is entitled the "EOP Inspection Program."-

The purpose of the inspection is to verify that human factors considerations have been adequately addressed in the E0Ps and to review the adequacy of technical changes made to the E0Ps in response to previous inspections.

The inspection program is a team inspection. The inspection team will include two or three reactor inspectors and two human factors specialists.

The inspection is scheduled for August 20-24, 1990.

The team leader for this inspection will be Mr. L. Lawyer from Region II.
