Dear Mr. Vassallo:
By a letter dated May 3,1982, the NRC requested that Carolina Power
& Light Company (CP&L) provide to the Franklin Research Center (FRC) certain documents for review from CP&L's central file for Environmental Qua,lification of Electrical Equipment. As discussed with your staff, CP&L continues to believe that the most efficient and productive way to deal with this issue is to have a meeting with the NRC and FRC at the central file in Philadelphia.
Howevec, in the interest of expediting resolution of this issue, CP&L is providing, in accordance with your letter, a full submittal of the requested documents to FRC for their review. A listing of the information being provided is also enclosed (Enclosure 1).
With respect to information requested in Section B of the FRC document request listing (reference RFI-C5257-473), TMI Action Plan equipment will be addressed upon completion of installation in accordance with CP&L's i
