Reference:

Letter from G. L. Koester (KG&E) to H. R. Denton (HRC), dated May 3, 1982.

As a result of our review of the referenced letter, we find that we need additional infomation to complete our evaluation. The specific infomation required is presented in the Enclosure.

To maintain our licensing review schedule for the Wolf Creek Plant, we will need responses to the enclosed request by July 23, 1982.

If you cannot meet this date, please infom us within seven days after receipt of this letter of the date you plan to submit your responses so that we may review our schedule for any necessary changes.

Please contact Mr. J. B. Hopkins, Wolf Creek Licensing Project Manager, if you desire any discussion or clarification of the enclosed request.

220.10WC The second sentence on top of pdge 5 implies that the original FLUSil Analysis is unconservative and unrealistic. Clarify. this statement.

220.11WC thder item C on Page 5, you stated that the presence of the soil surrounding the embedded portion of the structure was consedatively omitted. However in staff's opinion your omission of the soil may result in a frequency shift and may, therefore,. not be consedative.
