i As you are aware, we are planning a new 'Ibchnical Support Center which will be constructed to meet the habitability requirements of NUREG 0696.

This new facility is scheduled for conpletion in January 1984. As stated in our correspondence of April 1,1982 (Reference 2), we feel it is nore beneficial to focus our resources on the empletion of the new TSC rather than upgrading the existing TSC.

Should you have any further questions, please contact Mr. James Knubel, Manager BWR Licensing, at (201) 299-2264.

Very truly yours,

=J w
