Gentlemen:
MILLSTONE NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 2 LICENSE AMENDMENT FEE Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) proposed to amend its Operating License No. DPR-65 for Millstone Unit No. 2 in Reference (1). The proposed license amendment involved certain revisions to the Technical Specifications for reactor coolant system flow rate.
We have since been informed by the Staff that in the normal transmittal of this license amendment request, the appropriate remittance required by 10CFR 170.22 was inadvertently omitted. As documented in Reference (1), NNECO has determined that the proposed license amendment constitutes a class III amendment request pursuant to 10CFR 170.22. Therefore, please find enclosed the Class III license amendment fee of $4,000.
