This confirms our plans discussed on June 23, 1982, between you and Mr. R. C. Knop of this office to meet with you, Mr. W.
3 Kelley and members of your staff at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) on July 12, 1982, at our office in Glen Ellyn, Illinois for the purpose of discussing your proposals with respects to continuing construction work activities at your Clinton Power Station.
It is our understanding from our discussions that you have stopped work in the following areas at this time:
1.
containment structural steel installation 2.
electrical equipment installation 3.
installation of all electrical instrumentation 4.
all new conduit installation except in the containment building 5.
safety related work for heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment (HVAC) 6.
seismic hanger support webds (first attachment welds only) for HVAC It is further cur understanding tha't you will not lift the stop work orders in the areas listed above until the NRC reviews your actions that were im-plemented to correct conditions leading to the implementation of the stop work actions.
