Fillet Weld Requirements We have completed our review of the S!iUPPS request for authorization to use Subsections (1B-4427,14C-4427, and f4D44427 in the Winter 1981 Addenda to Section III of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for SilVPPS Projects STil 50-482 (Wolf Creek Unit 1) and STil 50-483 (Callaway Unit 1), as identified in your letter SLfiRC 82-028, dated May 25, 1982. The above referenced subsections to the code deal with fillet weld requirements.

The staff finds the use of subsections f4C-4427 and 110-4427 identified above to be acceptable for use on the S!1UPPS projects.

Subsection tiB-4427 of the Sumer 1980 Addenda to Section III of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is already approved for use and satisfies youri Concern.
