Inspection and Enforcement Batietin 82-01, Revision 1, outlines corrective actions.to be taken by nose facilities which are Listed.in Table 1 of ne Buitetin. Table 1 aus intended to be inclusive of uose facitdies for which piping assemblies have been fabricated and supplied by de Associated Piping and Engineering Corpora, tion.
Even though Nine blite Point Unit #1 is not listed in Table 1, and derefore is not required to respond to flie Buitetin, fabrica.ted piping assemblies (safe-end replace-ment elbows) have been received from de Associated Piping and Engineering Corporation in October,1980.
For this reason,.this response is being subnL;ted and is for information only.
As a result of de Bulletin, Niagar1 Mohawk Power Corporation has performed a second set of radiographic euminations of de elbows.
The test resutts were found.to be in agreement with he.utLtial radiography W
results subu,tted by the Associated Piping and Engineering Corporation, i.e., acceptable weld quaLLty ats demonstrated.
All quality assurance records.tefleeting uese findings are being maintained and are available for your review.
