Stop Work Order for Contract No. NRC-02-81-058 Modification No. One (1)
The subject contract is for an environmental impact assessment based on various information to be provided by the licensee. As there have been continuing and indeterminate delays on the part of the licensee in providing necessary information, the assessment cannot be completed at this time.
Therefore, you are hereby directed to stop all work called for under the contract pursuant to Clause 1.14 of the General Provisions entitled, "Stop Work Order." This order shall be effective upon receipt of this letter and shall continue through September 30, 1982. However, in accordance with the terms of the Stop Work Order clause, the Contracting Officer may rescind the stop work order, at any time during the term of the order, should the delinquent licensee information be received.
In the interim, you are to take all reasonable steps to minimize the incurrence of costs associated with the work covered by the order during the period of work stoppage.
Your acceptance of the period of this Stop Work Order is required.
Your acceptance shall be indicated by signing in the space provided and returning a copy of this order immediately to me.
