1 Re: Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3 We appreciate your response to our request of February 1,1982 for additional information concerning the Environmental Qualific.ation of Safety Related Electrical Equipment at the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. Our contractor (Franklin Research Center) received the package you submitted on April 6,1982; based on its preliminary review, FRC believes it has no further questions on the reports you submitted.
Our letter of February 1,1982 did not request supporting documentation i
on equipment installed under TMI Action Plan Items (NUREG-0737), since OMB clearance for such a request.had.not been received at the time of l
our February 1,1982 letter. Our overall review of this subject for Browns Ferry and other facilities will include the TMI Action Plan equipment. To accomplish this,.we request the additional information identified in the enclosure to this letter. We would appreciate it if you would follow the same procedure as you did in responding to our February 1,1982 letter - namely, send a single copy of the requested documentation to Mr. Cyril T. Crane at Franklin Research Center and a copy of the transmittal letter to Mr. Richard J. Clark, the NRC Browns Ferry Project Manager. Upon completion of our review, the documents will be returned to you if you so desire.
