Change in Acceptance Criteria for the Reactor Core Isolation Cooling System Startup Test for La Salle In Commonwealth Edison's letter dated June 2,1982, a request was made to change the acceptance criteria for the reactor core isolation cooling system startup test for la Salle from "The RCIC turbine shall not trip on overspped during auto or manual starts" to "The RCIC turbine shall not trip on overspeed or isolate during auto or manual starts".

Pursuant to the provision of Section 2.C.28(b) of License No. NPF-ll requiring NRC staff approval for modifications of acceptance criteria, we reviewed the proposed change, and we conclude that the change would make the acceptance criteria more conservative. Therefore, this change request is acceptable.
