Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of the subject Deficiency Evaluation Report in Reference (A).

An Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B),

and Time Extensions were requested by References (C) and (D).

At that time, it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by May 24, 1982.

Due to the extensive investigation and corrective action required, it is now expected that this information wil' ke finalized by August 24, 1982, at which time a complete report will te submitted.

There is no change to the Interim Report at this time.
