1," dated June 8, 1982 The reference letter provided the NRC',s requirements for the docketing of the WNP-1 Operating License Application.

The Supply System commits to having the WNP-1 design satisfy the require-ments of any future regulation promulgated between the date of docketing of the WNP-1 operating license application and the resumption of construction of WNP-1, from which WNP-1 would otherwise be grandfathered by virtue of its date of docketing.

My letter of April 50, 1982 identified a construction delay of "from two to five years" for WNP-1.

However, recent action by the Supply System Board of Directors establishes a plan to resume major activities to support construction followed by actual construction early in 1983.

We will continue to keep you informed of developments in this regard.
