All other aspects of the container are consis with the original design.
Naval Reactors considers that shipments of radioactive materials using the WAPD-40 shipping container comply with Code of Federal Regulations Requirements (10CFR71) and a revised DOE certificate of compliance was issued on April 15, 1982.

A copy of the revised WAPD-40 SARP and DOE certificate of com-pliance are attached as enclosures (1) and (2) respectively and are forwarded for NRC information and review as appropriate.

WAPD-40 cask is requested by November 1, 1982 to support Cana-l dian use of the shipping cask in early 1983.
