Control of Heavy Loads - Virgil C. Surrer Nuclear Statio hT6 Enclosed is a copy of a draft technical nvaluation report (TER) entitled,
" Control of Heavy Loads at Nuclear Power Plants, Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit 1."
This report was developed based on your responses to our generic letter on control of heavy loads issued December 22, 1980.
This draft TER was prepared by the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL) under a technical assistance contract to NRC.
We request that after your staff has completed its review of the enclosed document you schedule a conference call with the staff to resolve the open items in the draft TER. A representative from INEL will also participate in the conference call.
The staff intends to issue a safety evaluation report on this subject which will be based upon the final TER to be issued by INEL subsequent to the conference call.
